The first presenter will focus on engaging and responding to the AEDC outcomes from an Aboriginal perspective.  This session will also reflect on the value of the AEDC data in informing initiatives and programs within the early years.

The second presentation will share findings from research analysing outcomes for children from CALD backgrounds. CALD children are more likely to be developmentally vulnerable at school entry, and the presentation will explore the drivers of this along with insights on ways to improve their developmental trajectories.

To view the AEDC data, learnings from a First Nations research project at the AEDC NSW Research Symposium from June 2025, please follow this link.
