From working at an out of hours care and vacation care service to holding a national lead role in child protection at an early education provider, Brad has worked toward and advocated for the best interests of children for over 10 years. 

Tracy Colvin is an Early Childhood Teacher who lives and works in South Eastern Victoria. She has worked in a variety of roles within the ECEC sector for over 20 years, and currently teaches 3 y.o. Preschool while also mentoring ECEC students, and writing curriculum at TAFE. She has two children, and when she isn’t engaged in all things ECEC she enjoys walking in nature, exploring the city and finding new places to eat. 

Natalie is a veteran early years teacher, a mother of three, and the co-creator of Muddy Smiles - a site dedicated to children’s play. She taught children for over 8-years, specializing in music. During this time she experienced the best and worst of what mainstream education offers. This inspired a deep interest in pedagogical systems and how can we intentionally design children's education to be effective, kind and whole-person focused.

Dr Kathy Murray is the passionate founder of TES. Kathy has over 35 years’ experience working with people in the education and business worlds. 

After completing formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education (B. Teach., Ba. Ed., & M.Ed), and near completion of her Phd, Kat commenced employment in the sector as an Early Childhood Educator and soon progressed into the management of childcare centres. Whilst employed for KU Children’s Services for six years, Kat furthered her knowledge and skills by pursuing her interest in tertiary teaching, lecturing at both TAFE and University Levels, a role she has maintained throughout her long-standing early childhood career. In addition to her commitment to adult learning, Kat has continued making a significant contribution to the education of young children, which can be highlighted in her role as General Manager of Paisley Park Early Learning Centres. Kat is highly respected and is recognised as a thought leader in the field.

Wholesome Child was created to provide informative and creative advice, support and inspiration to empower parents to make healthier food choices for their kids.

Wholesome Child founder, child nutrition expert and mother of two, Mandy Sacher, is a Paediatric Nutritionist and SOS Feeding Consultant. Her private practice focuses on prenatal and childhood nutrition, helping parents and mums-to-be feed their children healthy, nourishing foods right from the start.

I have been lucky enough to spend my career in a range of roles, including Early Childhood Teacher, Centre Manager, Validator (Assessor), Trainer, Operations Manager leading and managing 10 Early Education centres and as a Regional Manager responsible for leading and managing 88 centres across two states. My responsibilities included Operational management, Fiscal management of the portfolio and Leadership to inspire and engage the team.

My passion lies with helping families, educators and leaders to flourish in order for our children to have the best environment in which to grow up. I have a special interest in Positive psychology and the theory of Wellbeing and in particular work around transcendence and gratitude. I aim to get families, educators, leaders, teachers, educational institutions and other organisations excited about the practices of positive psychology in leadership, education and parenting. I aim to spread the practice of 'Living on Hourglass Time' which I came up with in October 2017.

I believe that with great leadership we have the opportunity to change people's lives.

Mick Ogrizek is an experienced member of the early childhood education and care (ECEC) community, having spent three years as the manager of monitoring and compliance at the Victorian Regulatory Authority. Prior to his role with the Regulatory Authority, Mick was involved in operational policy development with the Victorian Police force, was an experienced solicitor with 17 years experience of running his own firm, several qualifications in Law, the Arts and Investigation and Regulation. Mick publishes the Australian Childcare Regulation blog which covers all matters to do with ECEC compliance and regulation in Australia.
